A new partnership between PSA and eBay has been announced, making buying to grade a much more simplistic process.
Whether it's for the PC, card show, or the eBay store, buying raw to grade is one of the most profitable ways to grow your collection or inventory. However, the timeline of that process can be a headache.
🎴Ways of Old
After you buy the card, you have to wait about a week for the card to get to your house, and that's if the buyer doesn't take a few days to send it through the mail. Then you have to wait to a few days for it to get to PSA.
With PSA updating their turnaround time, this whole process could be four to five months, but a the new option to buy and grade will more than likely save you a few days, if not weeks.
😃While Exciting, There are Some Things to Know
Whatnot has had this feature for as long as I can remember, it's a bout time that eBay got with the times.
However, you can't eBay ➡️PSA for every card. It looks like this will be an option for cards that go through eBay's authenticity guarentee program, i.e. cards over $250.
💭Final Thoughts
We're living in exciting times. However, it would be nice to see some of the mid-range cards to get the same type of love. Maybe soon there will be an option to send that $20 Jace Jung or Ethan Salas card to PSA.
